Confirmation or Follow-up
If the patient matches the trial or therapy criteria, the patient proceeds through the process with the sponsor. If additional follow-up is needed, the sponsor is now prepared to facilitate a well-informed discussion with the referring provider on what additional information is needed or why the patient did not meet eligibility.
